Serious Games on the Move conference

In the field of mobile learning, few things are as promising as serious games. I started this blog in 09, but I wanted to write a few lines about last year’s conference “Serious Games on the Move”, which was held at Anglia Ruskin University in June 08. Some might have missed it and the website, which is still online, offers lots of information on the progress of educational mobile games. The conference was attended by mobile learning experts from all over the World. The conference handbook which can be downloaded directly on the website is especially interesting as it contains the summaries and abstracts of each presenter. The abstracts show that there have been presentations covering an amazingly broad spectrum, ranging from role-playing games to second language learning.

Great read for anyone who didn’t know about it already.
